This is not a joke. Not only did Universal snag the adaptation rights to last year’s hit game, but Gore Verbinski from the ‘Pirates of The Carribbean’ series is set to direct!! In other words, we’re most likely guaranteed that this video-game/movie adaptation will blow us right out of the depths of Rapture! I’m just as skeptical as the rest of you, but come on—Verbinski was able to produce a knockout trilogy from a freakin’ theme-park ride!
